International Construction
and Project Management
Services:
A few years ago, Brittashan Enterprises Corp.
was selected to be part of a design/build team to construct
two United States Embassy Compounds, one in Guinea-Bissau,
Africa and the other in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. Our role in
these projects was to electrically construct the facility from
the ground up. Planning and coordination was a major part of
this project as every piece of equipment from switchgear to
wire nuts had to come from the US and shipped to the sites
under secure conditions.
Both of these projects were completed on
time and within budget.
A third Embassy project we played a major role in was in Bisket, Kyrgyzstan. Our
responsibilities for this project was to work with
the General Contractor to estimate the project, do the
strategic planning, make complete material lists and supply
manpower as required over the course of the project. This
project was also brought in on time and within budget.
Our 4th United States Embassy complex was constructed from
the ground up in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. With a 60,000 sq ft.
chancery building and four (4) out building of various sizes
and purposes. It was by far our most challenging. Not only
did we do the electrical construction, we also did all of
the low voltage systems which included fire alarm, BMS, tele
communications, data and security.
Difficulties arose on this project and the general
contractor was terminated 60% into the project. Brittashan
was asked to stay with the project and was contracted by the
State Department to complete. We did so and the project was
completed on time as per a required schedule.
Other overseas projects included work in Baghdad, Mosul,
Iraq and Kuwait City, Kuwait. These projects were smaller
and very sensitive.
